‘Lack of experience will kill you’

  1. Baroka FC co-coach Milton Dlamini was happy to score two goals against Kaizer Chiefs but lamented a lack of experience.

Bakgaga twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Amakhosi on Saturday night, the second equaliser being a sensational solo goal from Mxolisi Kunene late on.

“Our aim was to score goals. Today we scored goals, at home. So now we know we stand a chance of winning a game,” he said on SuperSport TV .
He went on to explain: “Because if you score goals you stand a chance [of winning], but if you don’t score, you just defend, nothing, then you don’t win a game. So we don’t care about the result but we scored goals today.”

Dlamini felt his side could have picked up three points if they had more know-how and experience in the team.

“Sometimes a lack of experience will kill you because we had the game in our hands [after we first equalised]. We missed clear-cut chances and then we gifted them two goals. So the penalty, lack of concentration, but you can only learn from that,” he concluded
