Arsenal are the only side among the 92 English league clubs team with no points away from home in 2018, losing every one of their away Premier League games since the turn of the New Year. The Wenger side are the only team in the top four tiers of English football who are pointless away from the Emirates in 2018 losing seven straight games since the turn of the year, they have lost to Bournemouth, Swansea, Tottenham, Brighton, Newcastle, Manchester United and most recently Leicester City. The Gunners have lost seven consecutive away league games in the top flight for the first time in over 50 years. The defeat to 3-1 defeat to Leicester City was their 13th away defeat in the league this season, their worst record recorded under Arsene Wenger. In fact, Arsenal Europa League 2-0 wins at fallen giants AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium and the victory Swedish minnows are Arsenal's only away wins in all competitions in 2018. The Gunners also recorded draws at Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and a draw at CSKA Moscow in Europa League. Arsenal's 3-1 loss to Leicester City compounded their series of woes, the Gunners can only boast three wins on the road this season, they won at Everton, Burnley and Crystal Palace, they recorded four draws and have lost a mammoth of nine matches away from home. Their haunting record on the road is even worse than Chesterfield, who were relegated from League Two last month. Chesterfield who relegated into non-league after Morecambe drew with Cambridge last month, managed to get five points on their travels this year. Relegated Stoke have also taken more points with four. The Gunners still have an away way before the season winds up and they hope to record a win in the last game of the season.
