Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to selling Anthony Martial has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and has given the club hierarchy the all-clear to allow Martial to join Juventus this summer in order to fund the club's transfer business this summer. With Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford currently ahead of talented Martial in the pecking order, The Frenchman is believed to be unhappy with life at Old Trafford and there have been persistent rumours about Martial's future this season and with the 22-year-old keen to get regular playing time. In an interview in March, Martial's agent was not too clear about the forward's future. He said: "Will [Martial] stay in Manchester in the summer? I'm sorry but at the moment I cannot say anything else about it. His goal is to win the FA Cup and to cement second place in the Premier League with United to qualify for next season's Champions League." Martial signed for United in the 2015/16 for a fee believed to be around £55 million during the reign of Louis van Gaal to become the most expensive teenager in world football and he hit his stride at Old Trafford scoring and creating some beautiful goals to become United’s standout outfield player during his debut campaign. However, he has not been able maintain the fine form that made him the fans delight since the arrival of Jose Mourinho and has been in and out of the first team under José Mourinho at Old Trafford and there have been increasing speculation United could allow him to leave in the transfer window. According to Tuttosport , Mourinho is ready to let the France international leave this summer and wants to use the sale to help improve the squad, as Michael Carrick and potentially Marouane Fellaini will need replacing. Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are all interested in Martial but United would rather sell abroad and that’s put Juventus at the front of the line.
