Barcelona will reportedly wrap up the signing of Antoine Griezmann when a release clause in his contract activates on July 1.

The Telegraph claims that the Catalan giants who have a £107million deal in place to sign the French international will make the move when the clause in his Atletico Madrid contract decreases at the start of next month.

Griezmann revealed his desire to leave Los Rojiblancos on social media before the end of the season, despite signing a five-year last summer and has been strongly linked with a move to Barca since announcing that he would be leaving Atletico in this summer's transfer window.

The speculation surrounding Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar and a potential return to Camp Nou led to suggestions that the Spanish champions could drop their interest in Griezmann.

However, according to The Telegraph, a contract between Barca and the Atletico forward was agreed in April and a £107m move will go through at the start of July.

Sincerely you are speaking my mind. He's going the way of Neymar, destroying his legendary status at Atletico Madrid, I wonder why players handle their transfer from one club to another badly.

This Griezmann issue is becoming messier by the day.
Almighty row between Barcelona & Atletico Madrid over Antoine Griezmann. Barcelona say he's now their player after paying £108m release clause. Atletico says he's still theirs because Barcelona should pay pre 1st July release clause of £180m
